Terms of Service

These terms of service ("Terms") apply to all apps and services published by SEY Solutions (ABN 13 531 353 123), operated by Jack Dempsey. By using our apps or services, you agree to these Terms.

Apps Covered

These Terms apply to:

• SparkyToolkit (iOS app)
• Banjo (iOS app)
• Melt (iOS app)
• ElecCalc (web app at eleccalc.au)
• SiteStock (web app at sitestock.au)
• Smart Batch (Chrome extension)
• seysolutions.com.au (this website)
• Any future apps or services published by SEY Solutions

Use of Our Apps

You may use our apps for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use our apps in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our apps
• Use our apps to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our services
• Use automated systems to access our services beyond normal app usage

Accounts

Some apps (SparkyToolkit, SiteStock) require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some apps offer paid subscriptions (SparkyToolkit Pro, Banjo Pro). Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• Subscription prices are displayed in the app before purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy

Electrical Calculators Disclaimer

SparkyToolkit and ElecCalc provide electrical calculators for reference purposes. While we strive for accuracy and compliance with AS/NZS 3008 and related standards:

• Calculator results are for guidance only and should not replace professional engineering judgement
• Always verify calculations against the relevant Australian/New Zealand standards
• SEY Solutions is not liable for any errors in calculations or any consequences of relying on calculator outputs
• Installation work must be performed by licensed electrical workers in accordance with local regulations

AI Features Disclaimer

SparkyToolkit includes an AI assistant. AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only. The AI may produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Always verify AI responses against official standards and regulations. SEY Solutions is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

Intellectual Property

All apps, content, designs, code, and branding are the property of SEY Solutions and Jack Dempsey. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, SEY Solutions and Jack Dempsey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our apps or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Availability

We aim to keep our apps and services available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any app or feature at any time without notice. For offline-capable apps (Melt, Banjo, ElecCalc), core features will continue to work on your device regardless of service availability.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our apps and services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Australia.
